Bauer Media's Place Porfolio has announced it's signed Paddy McGuinness as part of a new weekend line-up across its Place Stations, North of England and Scotland.

The Take Me Out host is to present a new Sunday show across the network of 16 stations from 9am to 12pm, and will be searching for the UK's Funniest Kid over the first few months of the programme. McGuinness commented 'Being a dad myself I know how funny kids can be - sometimes unintentionally. I'm looking for the best joke, act or funny story those cheeky scamps can come up with'.
